Gallery Agreement
The MAA Gallery is actively seeking new members to display their work for sale in our gallery and gift shop. To help in acquiring new artist displays we have revised our gallery agreement. As of January 1st, 2012 MAA will no longer charge a display fee for showing your work in the gallery. MAA will continue to charge the small (20%) commission on sales and you must be a current member of MAA but there will no longer be a monthly display fee.
To display work you must do the following:
• Be a member of MAA – the individual membership fee is $15.00 per yr.
[The associate fee for non-profit organizations is $20.00 per yr.]
• Agree to pay MAA 20% commission on all sales.
• Agree to bring in new pieces periodically so that our gallery display are new and exciting all year.
• Agree to allow us to use photos of your work in our publicity – newspaper, press releases, Facebook and website.
How can you pass up a deal like this?
If you only have one or two pieces that’s fine – if you have more that’s great. If you work in any different or alternative medium we are interested in seeing your work. Anything new, unique, different, creative and exciting is welcome.
Do you work in any of these mediums?
Painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel), drawing (pen and ink, pencil, colored pencil, charcoal), collage, photography, pottery, sculpture, wood turning, wood carving, beading, quilting (baby quilts, wall hangings), crocheting, lace making, knitting, greeting cards, tile, ceramics, porcelain, or any of the hundreds of other mediums. We are eager to fill our gallery with new and exciting items to keep the public interest.
